Anesthesia:  We utilize the safest available anesthetics to provide an extra margin of safety, especially for our older or high-risk patients. Using the most modern equipment and Licensed Veterinary Technicians, the patient's vital signs are monitored and recorded during all anesthetic procedures.
    
Internal Medicine Consults: We offer referrals to an internal medicine specialist who performs ultrasounds, endoscopic procedures and helps us with the diagnosis of more complicated cases.
   
Radiology Services:  Our on-site, Digital X-ray equipment provides high quality radiographs to aid in the quick diagnosis of many disorders, we also offer teleradiology and consultation with a veterinary radiologist specialist.
   
Electrocardiography Services:  We provide ECG services on-site as well as consultations with cardiology specialists.
   
Progressive Dentistry:  Our dental services include teeth cleaning (ultrasonic scaling) and polishing, digital dental x-rays, tooth extractions and minor oral surgery.
   
Laboratory:  Our in-house laboratory facilities provide for serum chemistry, hematology, serology, urinalysis and parasite testing. We also utilize commercial veterinary laboratories for specialized diagnostics and consultations.

Alternative Medicine: Acupuncture: a holistic approach to health viewing the patient as an organism with interrelated energetic parts. This is an alternative to breaking the individual down into separate systems and symptoms.  Dr. Barta has been certified in Veterinary Acupuncture since 2006.

Chinese Herbal Therapy: Chinese Herbal Medicine is tailored to the patients unique constitution and disease pattern.  It has been used for thousands years without change, unlike western medicine.

Integrative Medicine:  Combining Western Medicine with Alternative Medicine we can offer a unique combined approach to animal health care.

Pharmacy:  We maintain a complete inventory of pharmaceuticals, vitamins, shampoos, flea and tick control products and heartworm preventatives to meet the needs of your pet. We also carry a full line of prescription diets.
   
Individualized Flea Control Programs:  We develop programs for the specific needs of your pet and your own particular environmental situation. We will review with you the best ways to control fleas in your house, in your yard and on your pet.

Dietary Counseling:  We will provide guidance regarding your pet's nutritional needs for each life stage, including dietary requirements for growth, weight maintenance and performance.
   
Outpatient Hospitalization:  You asked and we listened!  Is your schedule too busy to squeeze in another appointment?  For your convenience, drop-off appointments are available. Give us a call to determine a drop-off time and you can bring your pet in at a time that works best for you and leave him/her with us for a couple of hours. (This service intended for established clients only).
