Veterinary General in Shelby Township, MI is a full service companion animal hospital. It is our commitment to provide quality veterinary care throughout the life of your pet. Our services and facilities are designed to assist in routine preventive care for young, healthy pets; early detection and treatment of disease as your pet ages; and complete medical and surgical care as necessary during his or her lifetime.

We understand the special role your pet plays in your family and are dedicated to becoming your partner in your pet's health care. We treat your pet as we would our own. Our goal is to practice the highest quality medicine and surgery with compassion and an emphasis on client education.   We are a new veterinary clinic located in the Nottinghill Village Shopping Center in Shelby Township, Michigan.  We opened our doors in July, 2007.  Our services include wellness care (including vaccines), preventative medicine for every stage of life, client education, an in-house laboratory, general and local anesthesia, surgery , pain control, digital radiography, dentistry, digital dental radiography, computerized records,  acupuncture, parasite control and prescription diets all in a comfortable inviting environment. 

  Our goal is to provide the most appropriate medical care for every stage of life for your pet and to guide our clients through making the best medical decisions for their pets to ensure a long healthy life.

  We are currently accepting new patients.  We gladly welcome visitors who would like to meet us, see our new clinic and learn about the services we have to offer.

Our clinic is easily accessible from Hayes or 24 Mile Road.  We look forward to seeing you and your best friend soon.
